Obi Iyiegbu (Obi Cubana) alongside some other investors have commenced the process of constructing an eco-smart city in Abuja, to possibly bridge the gap for quality and affordable housing in the city, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the project named Zoe New Dawn/Casa-Cubana, the Chief Executive Officer of Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited, Achema Stephen Akpan, said the project was designed to herald a new phase in housing sector in Nigeria.

He said: “We celebrate the birth and manifestation of what would be a great residential architectural elegance and flamboyance in partnership with Casa-Cubana, spearheaded by celebrity billionaire entrepreneur, Chief Obi Cubana, of the Cubana Group.

“Unarguably, Obi Cubana is a man with midas touch and we all know that his name and brand is synonymous with excellence and everything gorgeous. Whatever he touches turns to gold. So, it’s my pleasure to announce our cemented partnership to drive the unique opportunities presented by this smart city and golf resort project.

“This project was conceived to be unique in several ways different from the contemporary tendencies in the real estate industry. Apart from the unique selling point of being centrally located within the heart of Abuja, the project captures future living potentials.

“It’s a city that is plotted on over 82 hectares of flat land with a natural stream running throughout it, 180° degrees, fitted with vegetation and natural habitat for living. It’s designed to run on fundamental and top to the range infrastructures.”

He described the project as a convergence of business opportunities in real estate, and present early bird investors with great rewards for foresight. “Based on a conservative estimation of return-on-investment projected to be about 100 per cent over a short period of 10 years, we are in a pleasurable time as we key into this masterpiece world of pleasure and profit.” In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer, Cubana Group, Mr. Obinna Iyiegbu, explained that Cubana Group was set to redefine housing in Nigeria, hence the decision to partner in constructing the smart city, that will be affordable for all classes of people in the society.
