Winners have emerged at the just concluded 2022 edition of Face of Jasmine Africa Magazine. Queen Happiness Akachukwu who represented South Africa in the contest and King Peter Azubugwu who represented Uganda emerged the overall winners in female and make categories respectively.
Others include, the first runner up, Queen Edith Isaac who represented Nigeria and the second runner up, Queen Lovelyn Chidubem who represented Liberia.
The 2022 Face of Jasmine Africa Magazine/Jasmine Africa Honorary Awards which took place at Geneva Continental Hotel Anambra had as the theme, “Honouring Deserving Africans” and featured awards of recognition in honour notable personalities including, Chief Hon. Emeka Igwe, Chief Barr. Chidi Amaeze and more.
Guests who were dressed in a touch of African attire were thrilled by artistes including Terry G , Anyi Dons, Frank D Don and a host of others.
Speaking at the event, the chairman, former Inspector General of Police, Sir Mike Okiro who was honorably represented by the Commissioner of Police Anambra state Command, CP Echeng Echeng applauded Jasmine Africa team for putting up such a great event which he said provides a veritable platform to empower the youths and make them useful members of the society.
He reiterated the readiness of the command under him to deal with insecurity in the state and make Anambra one of the most peaceful and safest states.
In his comment, the Commissioner for Culture, Entertainment and Tourism in the State, Hon Don Onyenji said events such as this adds value to the enhancement of culture and tourism in the state.
Other dignitaries in attendance include, the chief protocol officer to the Executive Governor of Anambra state, Hon Chinedu Glamour Nwoye, the Honorable Commissioner for Environment Hon Felix Odimegwu, Elder Chris Eluemunoh amongst others.
Also present include, the CEO Senatorch Ltd, Barr Chidi Amaeze, Hon Emeka Igwe the PDP candidate for House of Representatives, Awka north & south federal constituency who unveiled the intrigue edition of Jasmine Africa Magazine, Royal mother of the day, veteran actress Maureen Ihua and more.
