The current administration is dismantling previously installed streets light systems, which depended solely on diesel-powered generating sets and replacing them with solar-powered panels to light up major streets in the State, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

The diesel-powered street lights were installed under the immediate-past administration.

Solar-powered systems, according to experts, save costs and are environmentally friendly.

Meanwhile, the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 7 is: Clean and Affordable Energy.
