Tony Nwoye has defeated Senator Stella Oduah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mrs Ebele Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to become the new Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports. Ebele is the former first lady of Anambra State.
While Senator Victor Umeh is on the verge of defeating incumbent senator Uche Ekwunife of PDP and Hon Dozie Nwankwo in Anambra central.
Ifeanyi Uba of YPP has also defeated Chief Chris UBA of PDP and Hon Chris Azubogu of APGA and Obinna Uzoh of LP in Anambra south senatorial District.
ANAMBRA PEOPLE learnt that Senator Oduah, a former aviation minister, lost in all the seven local government areas of Anambra North Senatorial District, namely Onitsha North, Onitsha South, Oyi, Ogbaru, Anambra East, Anambra West and Ayamelum.
