The senatorial candidate of the Anambra Central District on the platform of the New Nigerian People’s Party, Helen Mbakwe, has stated that she will seek the cancellation of the senatorial election in court, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.
Mbakwe stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission deliberately blurred her party’s logo on the ballot papers.
She spoke in Awka, on Friday, during a press briefing while lamenting that the blurred logo caused her supporters not to vote for her party.
She condemned the poor handling of the printing of the party’s logo on the ballot papers by INEC, which she said frustrated her ambition and the bright chances she had to contribute to a better Nigeria.
She congratulated the winner of the election Senator Victor and thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for providing enabling environment for them.
She thanked Abatete people for their bloc vote and the support they gave her throughout the electioneering period
