House of Assembly elections: Soludo’s APGA wins 17 out of 30 Seats

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) of incumbent Governor, Prof Charles Soludo has won 17 out of 30 Anambra State House of Assembly seats in March 18 election, ANAMBRA PEOPLE reports.

APGA clinched 17 out 29 House of Assembly seats from collation centres across the state.

The ruling party in Anambra State won in Anaocha, Njikoka, Dunukofia, Aguata 1, Aguata 2, Awka-North, Awka South, Orumba south, Ayamelum, Njikoka 1, Idemili South, Ekwusigo, Ihiala 1, Ihiala 2, Anambra, Oyi and
Anambra East

The Labour Party secured seven seats while the Young Progressives Party (YPP) won in three Constituencies. YPP cleared all three Constituencies in Nnewi due to influence of Senator Ifeanyi Uba.

LP of Peter Obi won in Onitsha North 1, Onitsha North 2, Onitsha south 1, Onitsha South 2, Idemili North, Orumba North and Anaocha 1
