There may be others who are equally respected, but these individuals are widely recognized for their contributions and accomplishments in the state’s political landscape. Although they may not currently hold any political positions, they command tremendous respect across the board. Their respect primarily stems from their integrity, intelligence, creativity, and experience. People look to them to understand their stance on issues, even though the majority of them are not in government. They do not need a political office to remain relevant, unlike some other desperate politicians who seek validation through the positions they hold.
