AWKA- Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo on Saturday, August 19, 2023, presented Certificates of Recognition to the four (4) newly elected Traditional Rulers of; Igboukwu, Isuanocha, Ajali, and Umuona communities.
The newly recognized traditional rulers are HRH; Igwe Alexander E. Azike, Idu III of Igboukwu, Igwe Barr. Mkpuorah PS Ngini, Igwe Gidigidi 1 of Isuanocha, Eze Augustine Nwangwu, Eze Ohazumee of Ajali and Igwe Ikechukwu Ezeofor, KSM, Ezeidoramma II of Umuona community respectively.
The official recognition took place at the Anambra State Executive Council, ANSEC Chamber, Awka, and had the presence of the Chairman, Anambra Traditional Rulers Council, and Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe, the Secretary to the State Government; Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff; Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Head of Service; Barr. Mrs. Theodora Igwebe, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Collins Nwabunwanne, and others.
