The Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Patricia Igwebuike and her counterpart in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy, Hon. Tony Collins Nwabunnanne yesterday visited LAMATA to learn about sustainable transport planning and implementation. The team was received by Director of Rail, Mr. Olasunkanmi Okusaga on behalf of the Managing Director, Engr. Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo.
She stated that Lagos state remained a trail blazer in public transportation and expressed the hope that LAMATA would greatly assist the state achieve its vision.
The team took a trip on our Blue Line Rail from our iconic Marina Station to Mile 2 and back.
