Our Lady’s High School Old Students Association is set to inaugurate her newly elected executives and honors outstanding old students that has distinguished themselves in their various endeavours.
National Publicity Secretary of the Association Comrade Evangelist Vincent Ezekwueme made the remarks during their pre inauguration/awards ceremony world press conference in Awka Anambra State.
The highlights of the epoch making event includes inauguration of Dr.Noble Oguguo led National Executives Council and award of distinguished service Award to outstanding members of the Association.
Prominent among them includes former president general Justice Ezebilo Ozobu,Hon. Justice Lawrence Alinnor, Former governor of Anambra State and Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Alison Madueke,HRM Prof Green Nwankwo and Late Chief Emma Molokwu.
His Excellency Professor Charles Soludo is the Chief Guest of Honor, while Hon.Com.for Education Professor Mrs Ngozi Chuma-Udeh is the guest of honor/keynote speaker.
Dr.Eric Anazodo President DMGS Old Students Association, guest speaker will deliver public lecture titled”Secondary School Education”The roles and challenges of old students association.
There will be presidential tours of the school facilities and novelty match on Friday 29th September 2023 at the school compound by 10am.The event will use to raise funds towards rehabilitation of dilapidated and decrepit sections of the school.
It is noteworthy that necessary arrangements has been made to ensure hit free, result oriented and successful event slated on Saturday September 30th at Hilton Leisure Resort Hotel Awka by 12noon under the distinguished chairmanship of High Chief Dr Emma Emegoakor.
