Real estate mogul and CEO of Big C Properties Ltd, Chief Dr Joachim Aforjama, has been honored with the chieftaincy title of “Pump na Agba Agba na Anaocha” at a grand ceremony held at Neni in Anambra State. The event, which took place on Saturday 7th October, 2023, was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Anaocha bigwigs, traditional rulers, political players, and well-wishers from across Anambra State and beyond.
In his acceptance speech, Amb Joachim Aforjama expressed his gratitude to the organizers for recognizing him among the numerous qualified individuals in Anambra. He also pledged to continue contributing to the development of Anaocha.
The ceremony also included the conferment of chieftaincy titles to other deserving individuals, including Chief Hon Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh, Chief Tochukwu Okafor, and Pharm Christopher Aguolu Ekene, among others. The title “Pump na Agba Agba na Anaocha” bestowed upon Joachim Aforjama reflects his philanthropic endeavors and remarkable contributions to the development of Anambra.
Joachim Aforjama, also known as Ezeomogo, hails from Ukunu Village in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. He began his entrepreneurial journey by selling cosmetics and beverages and later established himself as a prominent figure in the real estate industry. As the Group Managing Director and CEO of Big C Group, he has been instrumental in providing affordable housing in prominent locations such as Chevron Drive and Ikota Villa in Lagos.
Apart from his achievements in real estate, Aforjama is known for his philanthropic efforts. He has built houses for the elderly in his community, provided financial support to widows, and empowered young people through cash donations. His commitment to social causes is evident through his NGO, the Big Christ Charity Foundation, which conducts free medical outreach programs and supports underprivileged individuals.
Amb Joachim Aforjama is happily married and blessed with four boys and one girl. His dedication to his community and remarkable success in the real estate industry have made him a respected figure in Anambra State and beyond.
