Death Of Prof. Effah-Attoe Disheartening, Great Loss To PDP Family – Barr. Ifeyinwa Morah

The South East Zone of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is in deep grief following the passage of National Women Leader of our party, Prof. Effah-Attoe, whose disheartening death was made public on Sunday October 29, 2023.

The death of Prof. Effah-Attoe is not just a loss to the party, but to women folk and indeed the South East Zonal leadership of the women wing of the PDP family.

We are even more pained taking cognizance of the giant roles she played in not only uniting the party but making it a viral opposition to deepen the root of our democratic journey.

As a consummate leader and dexterous she always brought to bear her rich background as a professor of African History and Gender Studies in solving seeming knotty issues of governance.

We are confident that her legacies in driving the welfare of women in our country will remain an indelible landmark in our historic journey.

The women wing of PDP in South East geopolitical zone mourns an enigma who came, saw and conquered. We send our condolences to the family of late Prof. Ettah-Attoe, government and people of Cross River state and the PDP family.

It is indeed a difficult time and we pray God Almighty to give those she left behind the fortitude to bear this great loss.

Signed

Barr. Ifeyinwa Morah
Zonal Women Leader, PDP South East
