High Chief (Dr) Sir Darlington Nwabunike holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, an MBA from University of Lagos and PFD (Doctorate Degree) by Institute of Public Administrators of Nigeria. He also holds the prestigious chieftaincy title of (EZE NWAKAIBEYA OGBABALU AKU N’ ANWU) in his community Ojoto in Idemili-North LGA of Anambra State.
Similarly, Dr Chioma Nnenna Ejikeme is the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTDA). A thorough bred professional with rich pedigree of competence and strong capacity of delivery in public service.
She was first appointed the Executive Secretary of PTDA on August 20, 2019 on the strength of her hard- earned integrity, dedication to duty and competence. Since assuming the helms of affair at PTDA, she has shown a clear- cut vision and creative ideas in turning around the agency.
Recently The PTDA successfully disbursed N1.023 billion to 7,091 pensioners from the power and Transport sectors within the Parastatals Pension Department. This covers 39% of pension arrears accumulated by pensioners from August 2015 to September 2023.This is a remarkable achievement worthy of commendation, considering the neglect and abuse most pensioners have suffered within the public sector.
She revolutionized the agency by bringing about the advantage of technology. She digitized and automated the core operation of verification, documentation, pension payments and complaints.
Dr Chioma has continued to distinguish herself in public service and preserving a reputation earned over the years. She has got herself a huge responsibility in the running of PTDA considering that her office covers the Civil Service of the Federation, the police Pension Office (PP0), the Customs, Immigration, and Prisons Pension Office. Her impact in the past four years of discharging such responsibility is nothing short of top-notch competence blended with strength of character and this might be the reason she was reappointed recently by President Tinubu.
Dr Chioma Ejikeme is a graduate of University of Nigeria, where she obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).She holds a Masters in Public Administration from University of Lagos. She served as a medical officer for close to twenty years in the Nigerian Air Force Medical Services, she was also a former Commissioner for Health in Anambra State.
