You Lost Your Ward to APGA in 2021, You’ll Lose Again in 2025, APGA Stakeholder, Azikigbo Hits Obidike

A prominent youth stakeholder of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Honorable Great Azikigbo, has criticized the baseless assertions made by Honorable Ebuka Obidike, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), that the APC will replicate its success in the 2023 elections in Anambra State in 2025. Azikigbo dismissed Obidike’s statement as mere political rhetoric aimed at pleasing APC leaders for personal gain. Azikigbo pointed out that Obidike’s recent political blunders indicate that he lacks an understanding of political history, as he seems to have forgotten the outcome of the November 2021 Anambra Governorship election, which resulted in the victory of Governor Charles Soludo of APGA.

Azikigbo said , “in the build- up to November 2021 governorship election in Anambra State, there were realignments and alliances . You’re aware how your candidates poached most of our ‘big politicians’, yet APGA emerged as the clear winner, demonstrating that the people of Anambra State, the electorate, showed a peaceful disposition and support for APGA”.

Azikigbo highlighted that Obidike, who boasts of replicating APC’s electoral success in Anambra in 2025, was unable to secure victory for APC in his own polling unit during both the 2021 governorship election and the recently concluded 2023 general elections.

Speaking Further,Azikigbo emphasized that the people of Anambra State have made a wise choice by aligning themselves with APGA and supporting Governor Charles Soludo’s administration, which he believes is a divine solution for the state’s development. Azikigbo dismissed Obidike’s claim that APGA has underdeveloped Anambra State as mere political rhetoric. He pointed out that the Chinua Achebe International Cargo and Passenger Airport, which Obidike himself uses when coming into the state, was built under the APGA administration, along with numerous other impactful projects.

Azikigbo also mentioned that Governor Charles Soludo’s administration has awarded contracts for numerous road projects in Nnewi, where Obidike comes from.
