Are you perplexed by some of the strange things you see playing out in Anambra in recent times?
There is no attempt to hide it any longer.
The desperation has risen to a boiling point.
People are being made offers they have no intention of keeping as well as monetary inducements.
The offers range from flying dying APGA party tickets for 2027 political offices to party positions, state appointments, and pit concessions for tax onslaught against the poor masses.
All manner of Toms, Dick and Harry (JUDASES), that agrees to their peanuts has been hired as solution E-rats.
Ndi Anambra are being lured to celebrate the construction of a few kilometres of poorly done roads by unknown companies that the forthcoming rain will sweep away just as we witnessed with the first road renovated by the Soludo administration to celebrate its 100 days in office. A road that took the rains just a few months to wash away.
Movie scripts have become the order of the day as the Soludo administration struggles for the people’s elusive approval.
A visit to the streets, newspaper stands, markets, or okada and keke stands will show you how much these government-sponsored actors are being mocked by the masses on a daily.
The other day, a notorious SASA thug script acted the role of a bus driver who was so pleased with the road that the governor constructed on Niger Street in Onitsha that he brought a few wands of dirty naira notes as a gift to the Governor for using ego ndi Anambra to construct a street road in Onitsha.
Of course, this attempt to mimic similar acts by Mr Peter Obi’s organic followers during the presidential elections fell flat on its face as the entire facade was so poorly interpreted by both the governor and the thug in further confirmation of the A-level cluelessness that has befallen this government.
When you see them celebrating heavily procured but non-bankable political statements from the opposition members in the state, just take that as the sure banker attestation of the level of panic that has taken over the governor who initially planned to do nothing for ndi Anambra but who is now being forced to do the basics that he could muster because Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, joined the ruling party and became heavily rumoured to have become anointed by the presidency on the request of ndi Anambra.
The truth is that Ndi Anambra are not impressed about Gov. Soludo’s two years performance in office despite their heavy media onslaught, hence the state government’s resort to arrange videos from different corners, including those heavily induced but meaningless and non-bankable political statements with their main target sights on one man only and his political followers.
The question is, why are we not also seeing trending videos of labour party house members exhibiting the same dance of shame, or will Labour Party not be on the ballot too in 2025?
The fear of the Ijele is real and the fact remains that a goat that is already in the sights of the lion is free to make every reasonable effort to avoid the inevitable but even that goat knows deep down in his heart that it is game over!
