Hoodlums numbering about 30 have reportedly set ablaze the Neni Police station in Anaocha LGA of Anambra state.

The gangsters who were said to be armed to the teeth also torched Anaocha Local Government Headquarters at Neni.

Sources said that the dare -devils attacked the area between 3am and 4am today (Thursday), shouting: “DPO must go. He has overstayed. He has stayed in Anaocha for over 15 years.”

Another source said gangsters also whisked away some police operatives, including female police personnel at the police station.
