Harvard-Trained Billionaire Toy Manufacturer ,Paul Orajiaka, has shown interest to contest Anambra governorship election again after an unsuccessful attempt years ago.
Orajiaka met with top executives of the Labour Party, LP, in the Anambra to express his interest.
According to a source close to the founder of the 10 Million dollar Auldon Toys Company, he said Paul Orajiaka has started consultation to contest 2025 Anambra guber election in labour Party.
In the meeting with labour party state officials and local government excos, Orajiaka was quoted to have assured party members of his unflinching support and readiness to work with all stakeholders to ensure that the party remains a major force in the state.
He emphasised the need for unity among party members stating that the party must have a strong dispute resolution mechanism to ensure that issues that could cause rift among members are speedily resolved.
According to him, “all members of the party and those aspiring for elective offices in coming elections, should put the party first above personal ambition, as a victory for any Labour party candidate is a victory for everyone of us”.
Orajiaka, equally said “lets be united as a family and let the bond of comradeship hold the chapter together so the party takes it rightful position as a vehicle through which good governance will come to the people, both at the state and national level”.
In his address, the state chairman Chief Ugochukwu Emeh said, “the party has enough quality members and candidates who are committed to value-based leadership, the party leadership will focus of giving everyone of these quality valuable members and candidates a level playing ground for all of them to aspire for their various political interests”.
As part of his consultation with other grassroot leaders of the party, Orajiaka also met with Local Government Executives and the 20 Wards Executives of Ihiala Local Government in Okija where he also had a fruitful deliberations with them.
