Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs on April 23rd, held a crucial Meeting with the Comptroller General of The Nigerian Immigration Services, CG Kemi Nanna Nandap and her Team in his Office.

The purpose of the Meeting was to address the difficulties encountered by Nigerians living in Diaspora, particularly those in South Africa and Swaziland, when applying for, or renewing their Passports.

The Discussions were quite reassuring with CG Nandap affirming that the recently implemented International Passport Automation System will effectively address the Issue related to delayed Passport Issuance and Renewal for Nigerians Home and Abroad.
