Report reaching Anambra People confirms that Mr. Chukwubuikem J S Azoro, the Principal Partner at Clay & Amicus Solicitors and the Secretary of the Idemili Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Anambra State has been kidnapped by unknown persons.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening at Oye Agu Abagana, at approximately 8:30 pm.
Reacting to the incident, Mr Afam Osigwe SAN, described Mr. Azoro, as a respected legal practitioner and dedicated leader, who has tirelessly worked to uphold the principles of justice and the rule of law. “His abduction is not only a personal affront to him and his family but also an attack on the legal profession and the values we uphold”.
Mr Osigwe called on the security agencies to immediately swing into action.
“Every resource must be mobilized to ensure Mr. Azoro’s swift and safe release. The perpetrators of this reprehensible crime must be apprehended and brought to justice without delay.
“The safety and security of our citizens, especially those who serve in critical roles within our communities, must be a top priority. I urge the authorities to enhance security measures across the country to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future” he said.
