Renowned Educationist, Dr. Ngozi Agbasimalo to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Awka, Anambra State – In recognition of her invaluable contributions to the education system in Anambra State, Dr.Lady Ngozi Agbasimalo, has been selected to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the upcoming Eminent Man of the Year Awards 2024.

Dr. Agbasimalo, a seasoned administrator, teacher, and mentor, has spent decades shaping the lives of young people through her unwavering commitment to education. She has served in various capacities as a classroom teacher, Vice Principal, Principal, Zonal Director of Education, and Board Member of the State Education Commission (PPSSC).

“Dr. Agbasimalo’s impact on the education sector is truly remarkable,” said the event organizer, Mr. Uche Obizoba. “She has dedicated her life to nurturing and empowering the next generation of leaders, and her dedication and achievements deserve to be celebrated.”

Dr. Agbasimalo’s impressive resume includes a B.Sc. in Education (Biology) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, an M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Her numerous accolades and awards, including the “2013 Best School Administrator (President’s Teachers & Schools Excellence Award) in Nigeria,” the “Icon of Education” award from the Bishop on the Niger, and the “Award of Excellence” from the Faculty of Education at Odumegwu Ojukwu University, are a testament to her outstanding achievements.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Agbasimalo is also deeply involved in community and public service. She has served on the boards of various organizations, including the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation and the Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC).

She would be presented the award at a very elaborate ceremony on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, at the Hilton Leisure Hotels & Suites in Awka, Anambra State. The event is expected to gather educational, political, and community leaders from across the State to honor Dr. Agbasimalo’s remarkable legacy and other awardees
