Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 13 Headquarters, Ukpo AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor has advised newly promoted officers to be more dedicated to duty and to also keep to the ethics, discipline and standards of the Force.
Aghaulor gave the advice during the decoration of Police officers promoted from the rank of Chief superintendent of Police (CSP) to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) after the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, recommended their promotion and the Police Service Commission approved it.
The three newly decorated officers included ACP Rabiru Garuba, ACP Lucky Seibai and ACP Ngozi Nwokoma.
Addressing the newly promoted officers, the AIG appreciated the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun for finding the officers worthy of recommendation for promotion.
He congratulated the officers, charging them to know that the new rank comes with more responsibilities.
He further prayed for them to witness more promotions in the coming years.
Responding on behalf of the decorated officers, ACP Nwokoma thanked God, IGP, PSC, AIG, the zone for finding them worthy of the promotion.
The occasion was witnessed by the Management Team of the AIG, other senior officers of the Zone, Family, Friends and well-wishers of the promoted officers.
