Chisco Group Boss, Chidi Anyaegbu Sponsors Surgery For Over 65 Persons, shares bags of rice to patients in Anambra community

A group, Chidi Anyaegbu Foundation in partnership with Dr & Dr Mrs Onyebuchi Acho as well as Living Hope Medical Center Team, USA have conducted over 65 surgeries on indigent residents of Anambra state.

The beneficiaries drawn from the 21 Council Areas of the state were attended to during a medical outreach at Chisco Hospital, Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state.

President of the foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Chisco Group, Chief Dr Chidi Anyaegbunam said he chose to site the hospital in his town to ensure his people had easy access to medicare.

He said, “God blessed me to be a blessing to others. This hospital could have been built in Lagos or Abuja where I would have made millions.

“But I chose to build it in my community because I know that many of them don’t have access to medicare and their health status is nothing to write home about.

“We do surgeries in this medical outreach. Some of them can cost as much as N1.5 million but we do them free. That is giving back to society what society has given to us.

“In addition to medication, we feed the patients and give them bags of rice and this is not limited to people from Nnewi South, we attended to people from various local government areas of the state.

“”I’m grateful to those supporting me in this medical outreach. Some of them donated food, some cow.

Member representing Nnewi South Constituency 1 in Anambra state House of Assembly, Hon Atuchukwu Nonso said the medical outreach had created a significant impact in the lives of his constituents.

“As at the time I visited the venue of the 2024 edition of the medical outreach, over 65 surgeries of various kinds had been recorded and still counting.

Describing the benefactor as one of his political pillars, the lawmaker said he had rescued several people from the clutches of ailments, praying God to bless him with good health and wealth.
