Business mogul and philanthropist,High Chief Hamilton Ezeonu, has expressed satisfaction with the rate of development of Anambra State 33 years after its creation by the former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.
High Chief Ezeonu lauded the State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for his determined and focussed efforts to take the State further in all indices of development during his reign.
He said the emergence of Prof Soludo at this period when the State is celebrating 33 years, a period of full blown adult age if the state is a human being is a good opportunity to refocus it for greater development.
He also congratulated the founding fathers of the State and past leaders who have made personal sacrifices to ensure the stability and unity of the State for optimal development.
The business mogul equally lauded the spirit of enterprise, which is “I can do spirit”, Anambra people are known for, that has catapulted them to higher heights in all spheres of endeavour they found themselves.
Ikemba Nnobi enjoined all in the State to unite to make the state the centre of attraction and excellence by supporting the Government of the day.
He also challenged Anambrarians to be good citizens by being law abiding as well as pay their taxes and dues to the government.
