Pa Lawrence Nwoye, the father of Senator Tony Nwoye from Anambra North, has sadly passed away.

Chief Lawrence, a respected community leader, died at the ripe age of 89.

Reports indicate that he died in the early hours of Monday, August 25th, 2024 after a brief illness.

At the time of his father’s demise, Senator Tony Nwoye, who represents the Anambra North Senatorial District, was outside the country. He cut short his stay abroad and promptly flew back to the country to attend as a result of news of his father’s death.
