It was was jubilation galore at the Masters Energy Filling Station located at Okpuno in Awka South Council Area of Anambra State as keke drivers in the area were offered free fuel by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Flag Bearer for Awka South LG Chairmanship election, Prince Chinedu Okafor.

Speaking shortly before commencement of the free distribution of the Premium Motor Spirit, Prince Chinedu described the move as part of his deliberate efforts and commitment to the social good of the people and to ameliorate the sufferings orchestrated by critical time of economic hardship.

“This generosity which is in line with the vision of Governor Soludo to alleviate poverty and sufferings of the masses is a testament to my commitment to the welfare of the common man and part of my transformation agenda targeted at rendering service to humanity.

“Putting smiles on the faces of Keke riders is a demonstrated that everyone deserves to be supported at critical times. The dividends of democracy should be reflected in the people you lead and not otherwise,” he stated.

Prince Chinedu charged the riders to continue supporting Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo in his effort to achieve a sustainable, livable and prosperous homeland.

He further urged them to support his ambition to emerge as the Executive Chairman of Awka South Local Government Area at the September 28 LG Poll as he is determined to empower the Youths, care for the aged, and transform the Awka Capital Territory as contained in his ‘Revolutionary Manifesto’

Responding on behalf of the Keke Riders, Chief Onwunbiko from Umuzocha appreciated Prince Chinedu for coming through for the common man, noting that
they have never had it this way in their area and assured the ever benevolent Prince of their support and votes in the forthcoming LG elections.

“Prince Chinedu is socially savvy, sensitive and conscious to serve in the best interest of the public and support the people in their businesses, hence reason why his victory is non negotiable,” he added.
