Thursday, September 19, 2024 has been set aside as a day of mourning in honour of the victims of the recent bloodbath that occurred at Agu Isioye, Enugwu Ukwu, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, where many youths of the community were killed by yet-to-be-identified persons on Monday, September 9.

Mr. Nnatu Chinedu, the Secretary General of Enugwu-Ukwu Community Development Union (ECDU), announced this in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday, on behalf of the Traditional Ruler of the Community and the President General.

According to him, “On that day, the entire community and ECDU Branches within and outside the country will come together to pray for the repose of those souls that were killed in that process.”
