Accredited Election Observers were enjoined to report any incidents of violence, intimidation, discrimination or electoral malpractice to the relevant authorities; collaborate with Security Agencies to ensure that voting centres are secure and free from small arms and light weapons.

The observer groups commended the Election Management Body, Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) for their preparedness, and pledged commitment to promoting transparent and peaceful elections in Anambra State.
