Jubilation as Nwoye inspects rehabilitated Onitsha- 33-College-Nwafor Orizu-Umueri road In Anambra

It was celebration galore for drivers and commuters of Onitsha 33- Nwafor Orizu College – Umueri Road Onitsha North and Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State as lawmaker representimg Anambra North, Dr Tony Nwoye inspected the recent rehabilitated Federal road linking the major towns and communities in the area.

The road rehabilitation, which was facilitated by Nwoye followed his intervention in fulfilment of his promise to his constituents who brought his attention to the deplorable state of the road on the Blue App, X.

Speaking on the economic importance of the road project, Senator Tony Nwoye said the rehabilitated road project would enhance transportation of agricultural products from farm to markets, and also enhance economic activities in the area.

He promised to install Solar Lights along the road.

Appreciating Dr Tony Nwoye for facilitating the project, many of Keke drivers and road users said since road has been rehabilitated, it has reduced hardship being faced by motorists and commuters on the road.

They thanked Dr Tony Nwoye for his quick intervention and good representation at the Senate.

One of them, Mr Ifeanyi Ogbaji expressed joy and thanked the Senator for responding to their cry over the state of the road and the nightmare it caused them.

The road rehabilitation was handled by the Federal Ministry of Works through its agency, Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
