Mater Amabilis emerges best at Anambra Brain Contest

Mater Amabilis Girls Secondary School Umuoji in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State has emerged the champion of the Best Brain Contest held at ASUBEB headquarters, Ministry of Education, Awka.

In the contest which featured Mathematics and Igbo Language quiz competition, Mater Amabilis Girls Secondary School Umuoji showed her exceptional pedigree through Nkemelu Chiamaka, who took the first position in the competition and was crowned the overall best Mathematician in Anambra State.

Tansi International College Awka got the second position while the third position got to St. Charles College Onitsha.

Reacting to the development, Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh congratulated the winners, saying that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s passion for education has continued to manifest in the State’s children winning laurels in national and international competitions.
