Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka has said that a new Anambra State would not be defined by markets, roads, bridges and mansions but by wisdom, tact and fear of God (Uche, Uchu na Egwuchukwu).
He also said Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s dream of a liveable and prosperous homeland was materialising on a foundation of moral renewal.
Chidoka who stated this in his congratulatory message to Traditional Ruler of Obosi, Igwe Chidubem Iweka on his appointment as Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council (ATRC), described the appointment as a majority call to duty on many fronts.
He said Igwe Iweka was stepping into big shoes left by the respected Obi of Onitsha urging him to surpass his exemplary conduct and widely acknowledged leadership.
He promised that the people of Obosi would rally around him in full force to reciprocate the confidence reposed on him.
“Congratulations on your appointment as Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Council by Gov. Soludo.
“You ascend this prestigious role at a critical point in our history as a state, we need fundamental value reorientation and return to the values of our forebears.
“By this act, the state has expressed confidence in you and the Obosi community – a community with an enviable history of education and evangelism,” he said.
