The Independent National Electoral Commission said Political Parties are expected to conduct primary election for 2025 Anambra governorship election from March 20 to April 10.
INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this on Wednesday while addressing Chairmen of Political Parties at Commission’s Headquarters, Abuja.
According to him, the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election will hold on November 8.
Yakubu implored political parties to forward their schedule for primary election to INEC promptly, noting that it will help the commission deploy staff for monitoring.
He announced that the next Area Council elections in Federal Capital Territory will hold on February 21, 2026.
