Dr. Okeke Augustina Ugonwa Genevieve has been appointed as the new Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State.
The outgoing acting Rector, Dr. Ubaka Chukwugekwu, who announced this in a statement released on February 1, 2025, said Okeke was appointed by the Governing Council of the nstitution.
According to the statement, Okeke’s appointment takes effect from February 1, 2025, and will last for a period of six months or until a substantive Rector is appointed.
The appointment is seen as a significant development in the institution’s efforts to ensure continuity and stability in its leadership.
The new Acting Rector is expected to bring her wealth of experience and expertise to bear in her new role, and to work towards advancing the institution’s goals and objectives.
