How I Built One of the Biggest Cleaning Companies in Anambra – Somtee

Ten years ago, I was just a young boy fresh out of secondary school, waiting for my WAEC results and uncertain about what the future held. I never imagined that a simple holiday job would be the beginning of something so life-changing. Armed with nothing but a mop, a broom, and a bucket, I stepped into the world of cleaning. At the time, it was just a means to earn some money and keep busy, but little did I know that this humble beginning would lay the foundation for what is now a multimillion-naira empire.

I started small cleaning newly built houses, offices, and small business spaces, determined to give my best no matter how little the task seemed. I took every job seriously, ensuring that every floor shined and every space smelled fresh, hence birthing our Slogan, “we make your world shine”. My dedication didn’t go unnoticed. Word spread, referrals and recommendations came in,One satisfied client led to another, and before I knew it, the demand for my services skyrocketed and soon, I was handling more jobs than I could manage alone. That was when I realized that this wasn’t just a hustle; it was the birth of something greater.

The growth was gradual but steady. I reinvested every naira I earned into getting better equipment, learning the trade, and expanding my services. With time, I registered my company “SomTee Cleaning Services” to give the business a professional structure. What started as a one man operation with basic tools evolved into a full-fledged cleaning company with a team of professionals, high-tech equipment, and a reputation for excellence. Today, “Somtee Cleaning Services”, a subsidiary of Somtee Global, is a household name in the cleaning industry, providing premium janitorial services to residential and commercial clients across Nigeria and beyond.

Looking back, I am filled with gratitude. The journey has not been without challenges, but every obstacle only strengthened my resolve. From cleaning with a single mop to running a conglomerate, the story of Somtee Global is a testament to the power of hard work, integrity, and unwavering dedication.

This 10-year milestone is just the beginning. The vision is bigger than where we are now. SOMTEE Global is not just about cleaning services anymore,it’s about setting a standard in sanitation, distributing top-quality cleaning products, and leading innovations in the industry.
