Anambra Civil Society Network (ACSONet) a foremost Citizen advocacy group extends its warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on the auspicious occasion of his third anniversary in office, which comes up on 17th March, 2025.

In a release by the group Lead, Prince Chris Azor, “This milestone offers an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable progress Anambra State has made under the visionary leadership of the Solution Team, reflecting transformative milestones recorded across key sectors.

According to the good governance advocate, The Soludo administration has delivered exceptional results in critical areas, including education, healthcare, youth empowerment, infrastructure development etc.

Some of the notable achievements include employment of over eight thousand Teachers and introduction of free education from primary to senior secondary levels, recruitment of over one thousand health personnel, with provision of free antenatal and delivery services that have benefitted over sixty thousand women across the State. A gigantic trauma Centre is nearing completion.

In the area of infrastructure, Solution administration has turned slums into Cities, with the transformation of Okpoko Community. Construction of over five hundred kilometres of roads, with another three hundred kilometres at various stages of completion.

Ekwulobia has suddenly turned into to an urban centre with a massive modern overhead bridge and adjoining network of roads. Dualization of Amawbia-Agulu-Uga road is quite massive.

The new Government House hosts over thirty buildings including the governor’s office and lodge, breaking thirty-four year jinx since State creation.

The youth have enjoyed unprecedented empowerment with the 1 Youth 2 Skills initiative that has upskilled about thirty thousand young people, and still counting . The list is almost inexhaustible.

There’s currently a renewed vigour in tackling insecurity in the State, with AI compliant technology. This is yielding desired results.

However, the most striking reality is that all these milestones were achieved without borrowing a dime.

Expectedly, Governor Soludo’s numerous accomplishment culled from his Five-Point Agenda of overall development, captured in his People’s Manifesto has won him laurels and recognitions, including winner of the best State in transparency 2024, from budgiT Foundation, won $1.2 million prize at the 2024 Primary Health Care (PHC) Leadership Challenge, securing the top spot for overall performance and the best in the South-East zone, rated among three States in fiscal viability/sustainability.

Governor Soludo also, won the Sun Newspaper Man of the year, and crowned it just recently with Independent Newspaper Man of the year in rural development.

In the words of Mr Governor himself, the development strides are just beginning, suggesting there’s so much more to expect.

As we heartily congratulate Mr Governor on his trail blazing, humongous achievements, we urge him to focus more in strengthening the Social Protection and Whistleblowing Policies of his administration, by expanding social safety nets to protect the most vulnerable and reinforce intentional mechanisms to check corruption in public service.

There’s also, need to sustain measures at enhancing Security and Safety of all citizens, particularly in rural communities.

In celebrating this milestone, we also, extend our heartfelt appreciation to members of Anambra State Executive Council, all other Aides of the Governor and indeed Ndi Anambra who have contributed in no small way towards ensuring these breakthroughs.

We unequivocally reaffirm our unwavering support for Governor Soludo’s administration and commitment to partnering with other patriots to achieve the shared vision of a clean, green, prosperous, and secure Anambra State, where all will live and enjoy.

Big Congratulations once again, Odenigbo global, Mr Governor.
