Bianca Ojukwu Pays Thank You Visit to Soludo

The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu has paid a Thank you Visit to Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to appreciate him for the support he has shown in her endeavors.

Bianca led a delegation of Nnewi leaders to the courtesy call on the Governor on Sunday.

The Governor Soludo in a statement shared via his verified Facebook page on Monday wrote.

“Yesterday, I welcomed Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, along with a distinguished delegation of Nnewi indigenes,” the governor wrote.

According to him, the delegation visited to extend their gratitude for his consistent support—particularly in the period leading up to Ambassador Ojukwu’s nomination to President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet under the Renewed Hope administration.

Governor Soludo expressed his satisfaction with Ojukwu’s progress in her new role, stating: “It is heartening to see her excel. Her appointment reflects President Tinubu’s resolve to promote national unity by placing competence above political affiliation.”

Describing her as “a round peg in a round hole,” the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor voiced strong confidence in her ability to make a meaningful contribution in her capacity as a minister.
