US based Paediatrician, Dr Philip Ozua has redeemed pledge of whooping 1m dollars he made to University of Ibadan in 2023.

On the 11th of June, 2025 the University of Ibadan (CoMUI) opened Block C, a brand-new student hostel donated by Dr. Philip O. Ozuah, a distinguished college alumnus.

In 2023, he pledged $1 million to support the construction of a modern hostel—and he fulfilled that promise in full.

Few years later, he returned to commission the very building his generosity made possible.
