Anambra State has been recognised with a major award at the 65th Annual Conference of the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), which took place in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The state was named Best Branch of the Year 2024, a development that has been described as a clear sign of progress in its education sector.
Reacting to the achievement on Instagram, the wife of the Anambra State Governor, Nonye Soludo, expressed her delight, noting that the honour reflects the administration’s commitment to educational excellence. She explained that the government is deeply intentional about its vision, goals, and investments in the sector, ensuring that quality and inclusive education remain top priorities.

According to her, the administration is not only focused on massive investment in education but is also addressing the most critical needs of the sector to create lasting opportunities for children in the state.
“The vision is simple: no Anambra child whose dream is to excel through the classroom should ever be deprived of the chance to achieve that lifetime opportunity,” she said.
Nonye Soludo concluded by affirming that Anambra is “still winning” and reassured residents that “The Solution is Here.”
