Keystone Bank Chairman Rewards Young Scientists and “Girls in Tech” Innovators at FAPSCON 2025

The Board Chairman of Keystone Bank Limited, Lady (Dr.) Ada Chukwudozie, delivered an inspiring keynote address at the 7th Energy, Science, Technology, and Innovation Conference and Exhibitions (FAPSCON 2025), organized by the Faculty of Physical Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam Campus, Anambra State.

 

Themed “Leveraging Indigenous Technology and Recalibrating National Priorities for Achievable Tech Innovations and SDGs in Nigeria”, the conference brought together government officials, industry leaders, academics, and students to discuss strategies for advancing local innovation and sustainable development.

 

As part of her commitment to youth empowerment and education, Lady Dr. Chukwudozie, through Keystone Bank, presented cash prizes to the winners of the “Girls in Tech” and “Young Scientists” categories of the conference exhibitions. This gesture underscores Keystone Bank’s dedication to supporting innovation, gender inclusion, and human capital development among the younger generation.

In her keynote address, Lady Dr. Chukwudozie encouraged young innovators to embrace creativity and resilience, emphasizing that indigenous technology is key to unlocking Nigeria’s full economic potential.

 

The event also featured notable dignitaries, including Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, Vice Chancellor of COOU, who served as Chief Host; Chief Ifedi Godfrey Nwaejim, CEO of Treasures Suites and Conference, FCT Abuja, who chaired the session; Deputy Chief of Staff Mr. Chinedu Nwoye and Engr. Chidi Nwafor, PhD, who delivered a guest lecture.

 

Keystone Bank continues to demonstrate its unwavering support for education, innovation, and sustainable development through strategic partnerships and initiatives that empower Nigerian youths.
