Billionaire businessman and nightlife entrepreneur, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has revealed his plans to retire from active business engagements in the next decade when he clocks 60.

Speaking in a recent interview, the 50-year-old businessman said his retirement goal is to focus on enjoying life, travelling the world, and giving his wife the best experiences life has to offer.

According to him, his current hustle is solely to build a lasting legacy and ensure his children are financially independent.

I’ll retire in the next 10 years, when I’m 60. I’ll travel the world and I’ll give my wife the best that life has to offer. The idea is for these kids to become independent and live their own lives. No more work,” he said.

Cubana, known for his luxury lifestyle and philanthropic gestures, explained that his busy schedule and constant travels are part of a long-term financial strategy that will allow him to enjoy a stress-free life in his later years.

He emphasized the importance of working smart and building systems that will generate wealth without his active involvement.

“One day, this body will get weak. So that’s why it’s important to position things that will work for you in the next 10 years. If you see me in a jet, at a meeting, or at an event, it’s all part of the plan,” he noted.
