Following the successful kick-off of the Y’ello Tide season of surprises and the heartwarming appearance of the Y’ello Santa in six different cities across Nigeria, MTN Nigeria has announced the next major phase of its festive outreach – the Y’ellotide Weddings initiative.

MTN seeks to surprise Nigerians who are going to tie the knot in the coming months, offering a grand, unforgettable experience to kickstart their marital journey. The Y’elloTide Wedding is an extension of MTN’s commitment to impacting the lives of Nigerians, particularly during the festive season. Unlike conventional wedding sponsorships, this initiative is all about a surprise element, reinforcing MTN’s campaign message of bringing the vibe and unforgettable experience from now till the end of December. Imagine the moment: the vows are said, the celebration is in full swing, and then, a surprise visit from the MTN team, with an unexpected wedding blessing.

LAccording to Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, Chief Marketing Officer, MTN Nigeria, the Y’ellotide Wedding is a direct response to the brand’s core value of human connection. “The Y’ellotide season is about connecting people to happiness, to opportunities, and progress,” she stated. “The Y’ello Santa set the pace, and now the Y’ellotide Weddings will bring a tangible, life-changing difference to couples starting their families. We want to be the surprise that truly makes their day unforgettable, and we will be honoured to be a part of the rest of their lives.”
