Popular Nollywood Actor turned Rapper, Ray Emodi has taken to social media to announce that, he has stopped acting films and he will no longer be taking any role.
In a video shared on his official Facebook page today Tuesday 24th February, 2026 Ray Emodi revealed that, he has quit Nollywood to focus on his music career, and he urged his fans to come with him on his new journey.

“I have stopped acting films, I quit. There was a time i never thought I would make that statement for a short period of time but I won’t lie, I feel like I have to clear the air. I love music, I have always loved music and I make really good music, I want you guys to come with me on this journey”.
“I love every single Nollywood fan, I don’t want to drag this video out to be too long, I love every single Nollywood fan and I’m not leaving you, I just want to make music for the dance floor, and for women to whine their waist, and for men to be next to women whining their waist, rocking them, that is what I want to make music for”, Ray Emodi said.
