Humble Beginnings: John Ezeobi grew up in Okoti-Odekpe, Ogbaru LGA, Anambra State, in a middle-class family.
Academic Background: He studied Political Science at ESUT (Enugu State University of Science and Technology).
Early Struggles: Started as a small trader in 2006 with one shop in Onitsha. The trading company would metamorphosed into an industry in 2012.
John Zobis Group: Founded the conglomerate with subsidiaries like Zobis Electrical Wire and Cable Ltd, JZ Bulb Ltd, John Zobis Oil and Gas, and John Zobis Electricals.
First Loan: Took his first Major loan from BOI (Bank of Industry) in 2012 and repaid in 2015.
Rapid Growth: In his 30s, built one of Anambra’s biggest companies, sitting on over 400 plots with more than 100 workers.
National Presence: Has major offices in Onitsha, Lagos, and a state-of-the-art Experience Centre in Abuja.
Recognition: Considered the youngest, most successful Igbo industrialist.
