Amb. (Dr). Aforjama Emenike Joachim, popularly known as the “Eze Omeogor of Agulu,” is set to be honored as the Anambra real estate person of the year. This prestigious recognition comes as no surprise given his remarkable achievements as a philanthropist and real estate businessman.
From Ukunu Village in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim began his entrepreneurial journey by selling cosmetics and beverages. In 2005, he made a name for himself as the sole importer of KC Aleo vera drinks, Idole papaya soap, Beauty Rush soap, and more.
Over the years, Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim has established himself as a prominent figure in the real estate industry. He currently serves as the Group Managing Director and CEO of Big C Group, which includes Big C Real Estate and Properties Limited, Big C Multipurpose Mall, Big C Bakery, and Big C Food Land.
One of his notable contributions to the real estate sector in the country is his involvement in providing affordable housing in the Lekki area of Lagos. He has developed estates in prominent locations such as Chevron Drive, Chevron alternative road, and Ikota Villa. Currently, he is completing the construction of 40 units of 4-Bedroom semi-detached duplexes with BQ and 30 units of 4-Bedroom Terrace duplexes in Orchid Road, opposite Mega one Mall.
Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim’s commitment to creating quality housing options has seen him launched multiple estates in choice locations in Lagos State, including PIPI Island Estate Phase I and Phase II at Ogombo road Abraham Adesanya, PIPI Island Estate Phase III at Ogombo road Abraham Adesanya, Big C Estate Fidiso Sangotedo, Olive Island Okun Ajah, Ibeju Lekki Garden City at Ibeju Town, and Pucket Island on Chevron Drive.
Apart from his notable achievements in the real estate industry, Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim is known for his philanthropic efforts. He has positively impacted the lives of many, particularly the elderly and widows. In Ukunu Village, he has built houses for some elderly residents and renovated the homes of others. Additionally, he provides financial support to 65 widows from Ukunu Village and other communities in Aniocha Local Government of Anambra State. Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim has also empowered over fifty youths and regularly conducts free medical outreach programs in Ibeju Lekki and Anambra State through his NGO, the Big Christ Charity Foundation.
Amb. (Dr) Aforjama Emenike Joachim is happily married to Mrs Angels Oluchi Aforjama, and together they have been blessed with four boys and one girl.
