The Anambra State government has placed a ban on the advertisement of herbal drugs within the state.

According to Anambra State Commissioner of Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, he stated that government has mandated that all advertisements for herbal drugs must be approved by the office of the special Adviser to the Governor on Herbal medicine and Pharmceuticals before they can be displayed in any public space or media platform.

Anambra State Government’s letter to herbal practitioners reads thus;
