In a ground-breaking move towards sustainable waste management, Boskel Company is set to install an innovative waste management system in Awka. The manufacturing company, owned by Dr Kelue Chukwuogo, an indigene of Awka, is based in Port Harcourt.
The ultramodern waste management system, being introduced in Awka for the first time, aims to revolutionize the way waste is handled and recycled. As part of their pilot project, Boskel Company will demonstrate the functionality and efficiency of the system at the refuse collection site in the Awka industrial layout, just before the ring road Agu Awka.
The demonstration will showcase the system’s ability to harness waste materials and convert them into valuable raw materials and oils. This process of recycling and utilizing all components of the waste products is a significant step forward in waste management technology.
Dr Kelue Chukwuogo, the visionary behind the Boskel Company, expressed his excitement about the installation of the waste management system in his hometown. He emphasized the importance of sustainable waste management for both the environment and the economy.
“With the installation of this waste management system, we are not only addressing the issue of waste disposal but also creating new opportunities for job creation and the development of a circular economy,” said Dr Kelue Chukwuogo.
The Boskel waste management system is expected to have a positive impact on the community, as it will help reduce pollution and environmental degradation caused by improper waste disposal. Additionally, the system will minimize the reliance on imported raw materials, consequently boosting local industries and reducing the ecological footprint.
Various stakeholders, including government officials, environmental experts, and members of the local community, have expressed their anticipation for the demonstration today. They believe that the introduction of this state-of-the-art waste management system will be a turning point for Awka in its quest for sustainable development.
As the Boskel waste management system is set to be operationalized in Awka, residents are hopeful that it will pave the way for cleaner streets, improved waste management practices, and a greener future for their beloved city.
