Two men with gun arrested in Anambra for stealing bitter kola

Two armed men have been arrested in Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, for allegedly stealing bags of bitter kola.

The two suspects, identified as Onyenachiya Emmanuel and Chigbo Okeke , all from Amichi ,were said to have also stolen phones, ATM cards, and cash belonging to a young lady who owned the bitter kola.

It was also alleged that they raped the lady in turns.

A trending video that corroborated our correspondent’s report, showed the suspects being interrogated, while their pump action gun and the stolen bags of bitter were displayed.

The Suspects allegedly confessed to the crime; blaming the handiwork of the devil for their action.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Tochukwu Ikenga, promised to make further enquiries on the incident and get back to this reporter.

He never did as of the time of filing this report
