Onitsha- The Senator Representing the good people of Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Nwoye has facilitated the training of 70 Anambra North Entrepreneurs on Forex Trading through Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
Mr Yakubu Suleiman, The Project Coordinator, whose company Daho Global Resources Limited organised the Training, said that the essence of the Training is to encourage Nigerians mostly Young Nigerians to have the basic knowledge of Forex Trading. There are a lot of Job opportunities and investment in that sector.
According to Suleiman Yakubu, The Training is to equip Anambra North Entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the financial markets.
Dr Tony Nwoye who was represented by His Legislative Aide, Hon Chibuike Akpotue, during the four days Training noted that the programme was designed in a practical way, developed by SMEDAN, to support MSMEs with entrepreneurial, innovative knowledgable and vocational skills that will help them in the learning and actual business of Forex Trading.
He further said that the programme would provide them with empowerment materials aimed at filling the capacity gaps of the youths.
He explained that beneficiaries are expected to earn income and be busy with their time. It will reduce dependence on Government for job. Forex is where the actual Gold is now.
The fours days Programme was held at 2nd Floor of St Andrew Anglican Church Hall along Ozomagala Street Onitsha. The Participants were selected across the seven Local Governments that made up Anambra North Senatorial Zone. Each of the Participant were given a cash reward of Forty Thousand Naira for their Transport and Logistics.
