Comrade Benedict Soludo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Liaison, spearheaded the Solution Campus Walk for Healthy Living, embarking on a campus tour alongside students.
To commemorate the occasion, Comrade Benedict, the SA to the Student-Friendly Governor, was joined by a delegation including Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, Commissioner for Youth Development, Dr. Afam Obidike, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Nelson Omenugha, Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, Honorable Nathan, Awka Ward 8 Chairman, Comr. Cordelia Bert-Okonkwor, SUG Director of Sports UNIZIK, Mrs. Ngozi Ekeh, Coordinator of Tertiary Institutions (Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo), representatives from KENORA FITNESS & SPA, representatives from 1st ANAMBRA COMFORT LINE, and Members of the State Student Liaison Office, for a 10-kilometer walk session at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
Students are the Light of Anambra; healthy students will contribute to a healthy state. We are integrating the concept of healthy living into each tertiary institution’s campus and making it a routine. We are revitalizing student sports programs and interschool sports competitions in Anambra. The government of the Student-Friendly Governor is one that prioritizes the youth and is led by the youth.
The Special Assistant on Student Liaison also discussed other programs under his Anambra Student Alive Project, including the Anambra Students Skill Awareness Program, among others, and urged students to participate actively.
In response, Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, expressed gratitude to the SA on Student for the initiative and encouraged students to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, hailed the campus walk for healthy living as innovative.
