Chairman, Pinnatech Group, High Chief Dr Christopher Ndubuisi(Ikenga Umuawulu)has been honoured as the Champion Newspapers’ 2023 Manufacuter of the Year.

Dr Ndubuisi was conferred with the honour during the newspaper’s annual awards ceremony held at the Eko Hotels & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday,25th May ,2024.

Speaking at the event, the Group Managing Director/ Editor-in-Chief of Champion Newspaper, Dr Iheakanwa Nwadiuto said the award event is “structured to serve as a tonic to the efforts, dedication and tenacity of purpose of persons, institutions and organisations who have over the years consciously made sacrifices in advancing the fortunes of the Nigerian nation and her people.”

She said the awardees are the calibre of people and institutions that Nigeria needs to “get better and bigger” and in the same breath, calls on the political class to reconsider the issue of a single term of five years to enable elected public servants to focus on governance instead of seeking re-election.

Conferring the award on Dr Ndubuisi at the ceremony ,Former Governor Of Cross River State said Dr Chris Ndubuisi has distinguished himself as an exceptional Nigerian job creator who has continued to create opportunities for Nigerians Particularly in the technology space.

Responding shortly after receiving the award, High Chief Dr Christopher Ndubuisi dedicated the award to “his wonderful family ,staff and associates who have contributed so much to his current position.

Other prominent Nigerians who received award at the event include Labour Party Presidential Candidate,Peter Obi, Anambra State Governor,Prof Chukwuma Soludo, represented by the Deputy Governor, UBA CEO,Oliver Alawuba, Boston Hotel founder,Dr Victor Ide-Okoye. Britannia-U Oil boss, Uju Ifejika, NIDCOM DG , Abike Dabiri Erewa ,Dr Aisha Achimugu,Chairman,MAN,South-East ,Ada Chukwudozie,Prince Tonye Cole,Dr Augustine and Dr Mrs Jayne Onwumere of PWAN Group, Captain Najomo of NCAA.

Some of the dignitaries who graced the award event include Brigadier- General Buba Marwa, DG NDLEA, Prof Obiora Okonkwo of United Nigerian Air,Dr Kennedy Okonkwo.

Dr Christopher Ndubuisi attended the event with a retinue of associates ,friends and family members.
