Bishop on the Niger, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo has visited the site of the collapsed centenary building at the Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha (DMGS), Onitsha, Anambra State.
Nwokolo who visited the site shortly after his return from a trip outside the state, inspected the site and had inquisitive interaction for firsthand information on the unfortunate incident.
The bishop also visited the University on the Niger Teaching Hospital, Iyi Enu where the survivors were recuperating.
He interacted with them and prayed for them, just as he confirmed that the Diocese has provided funds for their medical bills and daily upkeep.
Responding, the victims who were visibly stable and in sound mind appreciated the Bishop for the visit and prayers, commending the level of professional medical care by the hospital personnel.
